The Manzi Monaté experience is all about you and how we go about creating the environment for your everlasting holiday memories. We cannot believe that yet another year is coming to an end; we are thankful to have been on this journey with you by our side. We have had a fabulous 2019 and cannot wait to share the stories with you. The Manzi Monaté family loves ‘love’ and celebrating special times! We are always looking for fun and romantic ways to spoil our guests, especially those celebrating a special occasion. What could be more special than a sweet combined honeymoon and babymoon? The Peter Family came all the way from the Eastern Cape to celebrate these two very special occasions at ‘Manzi’. The Manzi team decorated their chalet with a romantic touch, planned different activities for the lovely couple to enjoy and arranged a hearty lunch for them at a nearby Restaurant. The new Mr. and Mrs. were delighted to inform us that they had a wonderful experience and would definitely be back to make many more Manzi memories.

There is nothing better than spending a few days at Manzi Monaté, bonding with your family. The Brecher’s, two new parents, experienced just that this year. The beautiful couple travelled all the way from the Free State to have their baby at a Hospital in Pretoria. They decided to stay at Manzi Monaté before and after their little one was born. Before they arrived, we prepared a cot in anticipation for their baby’s arrival as well as a special card from the Manzi Monaté family. Only two days after they arrived, their tiny blessing entered the world. They brought their son back to Manzi Monaté on his birthday and the newly extended family spent the rest of their “vacation” bonding and getting to know their new bundle of joy.

Retro Café is a cosy restaurant in Kameeldrift-East, which is decorated with an eclectic mix of items from the 50s and select items from the 30s and 40s. This is a lovely spot to bring the whole family to.

Keep the Good Times Rolling...

Each year brings with it a multitude of fun days and holidays to be enjoyed and celebrated.
Manzi Monaté always sits up to take notice and makes guests feel super-special (as they are!)

We adore celebrating special days with our guests and special occasions, such as Father’s Day, provide us the opportunity to do so! Father’s Day 2019 was celebrated in true Manzi Monaté fashion. All of our guests enjoyed a Bring and Braai feast after taking part in Father’s Day themed entertainment - the Big Chess Challenge, Father’s Day Trivia and so much more!

Women are incredible, strong, talented and unique. Manzi Monaté celebrated all the wonderful South African Women staying with us over the Women’s Day weekend by pulling out all of the stops! A special table was decorated and laid out with refreshments, delicious cupcakes and marshmallow sticks for guests to enjoy during check-in and and the surrounding garden areas were decked out with balloons and handmade decorations. Young and old took part in the Women’s Day Sack Race and Trivia Quiz, as well as a host of other exciting activities that kept our guests busy!

Heritage Day, also known to many South Africans as “National Braai Day”, was a day filled to the brim with activities for all of our guests to participate in. From early in the morning, our guests were entertained with adrenalin pumping games and festivities. Things slowed down by early evening when guests were treated to a delectable Bring and Braai. Manzi supplied delicious pap and gravy, as well as side salads.

As you know, Manzi Monaté is the perfect holiday destination for anyone looking to relax completely and be at peace knowing that their kiddies are being taken care of and having the time of their lives! The School Holidays are always filled with exciting activities for everyone to enjoy. We love seeing family and friends having a great time and 2019 was no exception! We look forward to another year of fun, games and laughter in 2020.
