Dearest Shareholder,
Although this year has held many challenges, we have used the time to continue to improve both our services and the Resort. The Doornkop Team has completed a number of onsite projects to ensure the best possible holiday environment for all and it certainly rounded-off the accomplishments, being able to welcome so many familiar faces back to visit the Resort once more and to share in these improvements.
The seasons have, once again, shifted and transformed Doornkop into a beautifully green paradise, since the first summer rains arrived in mid-October. Fishing at the Resort has started on a high note as Doornkop dams have been restocked and the trout began spawning; offering up a tremendous challenge.
On a final note the Doornkop staff are excited to usher in the New Year with new opportunities for creating everlasting holiday memories and are dedicated to establishing Doornkop as one of the top holiday destinations in the area.
I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank VRS Managing Director, Marjorie Forssman, for her boundless encouragement, continual guidance and endless enthusiasm, as well as her constant drive for all of us to be the absolute best we can. We are looking forward to the Festive Season and to what the next year holds for Doornkop Fish & Wildlife Reserve.
