Talking about our spectacular surrounds… Have you taken a trip to the top of the mountain on the Harties Cableway and spied out the area from up high? Just 10 minutes or so drive from the Resort, the Hartbeespoort Aerial Cableway experience provides visitors with panoramic views of the Dam, the Magaliesberg and surrounding areas. On a clear day, one can see all the way to the Dome in Johannesburg, Brits and even some parts of Pretoria.

On our recent ‘recce’ – designed to ensure that we could share any information you might appreciate – we also rediscovered a couple of other interesting things that you might enjoy on your next visit! Having experienced the area from the top of the mountain, we thought it would be great to view the surrounds from the water. A Hartbeespoort Dam Boat Cruise is just the ticket and while traversing the calm dam waters and taking in the sights and sounds, you get to enjoy a spread of snacks and refreshments.

Our last trip on this recce was to the famous World Heritage Site – The Cradle of Humankind. If you and your family members have not been, it is a must do for all South Africans. An easy approximately 15 minute drive from the Resort, treat your family to a fascinating journey through time at the Maropeng Visitor Centre and the Sterkfontein Caves.

Mount Amanzi is also a popular Conference, Events and Wedding Venue.

With striking mountain views and the sights and sounds of the mighty Crocodile River adding to the appeal, it’s no wonder that Mount Amanzi is a popular Conferencing, Teambuilding, Events and Wedding destination. The setting, provided by the beautiful nature that surrounds the Venues, is further enhanced by the huge variety and quantity of majestic trees on the property, the rolling green-lawns-for-days and the picturesque gardens.

The Events Team have hosted a number of successful events in 2021; from delightful, brightly-coloured outdoor picnic weddings, to a special wedding anniversary celebration and a number of hugely enjoyed and entertaining corporate team-building events.

We apologise if our event's antics occasionally got a little raucous as the fun and laughter bubbled helplessly over, but hope that the knowledge that these events enable us to subsidise Share Block costs and keep our Shareholders annual levy commitments down will help ease any niggles in this regard.
