EXPLORING WILDLIFE WONDERS:
The Top Activity Spots in Hartebeespoort

Harties Boat Company

Embark on a captivating 2-hour boat cruise to discover the beauty of Hartbeespoort Dam and the magnificent Magaliesberg Mountain Range. Indulge in authentic South African cuisine, hospitality, and beverages as you soak in the breathtaking vistas of the lush surroundings.

When: Mon-Sun:10am, 1pm, and 4pm

Bushbabies Monkey Sanctuary

Experience the Bushbabies and Monkey Sanctuary with family-friendly Monkey Tours, where you can observe monkeys in their natural habitat. This immersive adventure offers a unique and educational experience for all ages.

When: Daily: 9am – 4pm

A LITTLE RESORT TLC

Pool Area
tick The EC pool area underwent extensive pool renovations.
tick Canvas shade was used in place of the deteriorating umbrellas.
tick Four 200-watt solar floodlights were installed for evening pool sessions.
tick Paving and seating were installed under the shades in the pool areas to enhance comfort.

Housekeeping
tick The couches in twenty units have been replaced along with scatter cushions and ottoman covers.
tick An extra chemical dilution system was implemented.

Tennis Court
tick Twelve 200-watt floodlights were installed on the tennis court.

Fence Area
tick An area of two metres on both sides of the fence has been cleared.

Resort Walkways
tick All Resort walkways were cleaned and cleared.

Resort Signage
tick Twenty-three Resort signage boards are in the process of being replaced.

Mini Golf
tick The mini golf course at Karee Camp is in the process of being revamped with a more rustic but funky look.

Tractor
tick The tractor axle was repaired and the tractor was resprayed.

Resort Gardens
tick New edge trimmers were bought to keep our gardens in tip-top shape.
tick The herb garden was replanted with new baby herbs.

Fountain Pumps
tick The Fountain pumps were repaired ensuring constant flow.

Chapel
tick At the chapel, all walls and pots received a fresh coat of paint, and the flower beds were revitalized.

ONGOING - Dams
tick All dams are cleaned and maintained once a week.

PROJECTS COMING SOON

We will be replacing kitchen cabinets in 22 units.

Linen and towels have been ordered for the units.

We will be replacing double couches in units as an ongoing project.

The patio roofs at Moepel camp are being upgraded with Harvey tiles.

AMAZING HOLIDAY MEMORIES

Christmas 2023

Christmas at Mount Amanzi was yet again an unforgettable experience! Guests enjoyed character cupcakes, homemade iced tea, and the staff-assisted in making chocolate chip cookie jars. Festive decor filled every corner of the Resort, and the staff rocked custom Christmas t-shirts and accessories. Christmas lunch was a feast with turkey pies, glazed gammon, and more, followed by delicious desserts. The kiddies also received gifts from Santa, and carols filled the air. It was a joyous celebration for all!

New Year

To ring in the New Year, we transformed the Reception area into a lively Hawaiian paradise, decorated with bright umbrellas and festive hula leis, creating an ambiance that promised a memorable celebration! Guests were surprised with a year-end dance featuring timeless classics and modern hits, spreading endless joy as everyone grooved to the music.

Valentine’s Day

Love filled the air as we lavishly treated our guests! We pulled out all the stops for Valentine’s Day, decking the entrance with red and white decorations, complete with hearts and frames. Guests enjoyed snapping fun photos at a cute heart-themed photo booth while munching on delicious heart-shaped cookies. Adding to the excitement, guests were treated to a Valentine's dinner at the Old Kitchen Restaurant, where they exuded timeless elegance.

Easter Weekend

The Easter bunny hopped into sight, bringing joy and plenty of Easter eggs to spread around. With an enchanting Alice in Wonderland theme, our Resort was decked out in whimsical decor as we hosted a successful Easter egg hunt, with each participant receiving a special gift. Guests of all ages, from the young to the young at heart, also had the opportunity to snap photos with the Easter bunny.

Conferences and Weddings

The Banqueting Department has been consistent in offering a wide range of services. In the past six months the Team has been forging unforgettable memories bringing weddings, birthday parties and teambuilding occasion dreams to life. The recent upgrades to the conference centre and Resort bathrooms have truly contributed to the success of the Department.

Entertainment

Step into our Games Room for an adventure-packed experience the whole family will love! Dive into a world of excitement with pool, tennis, table tennis, and board games galore. With weekly activity programs and catch-and-release fishing, there's always something thrilling to do. Take a splash in our pools, unleash your competitive spirit on the multi-court, and bounce with joy on our jumping pillow and trampoline. And for added fun, don’t forget to challenge yourself to mini-golf, join in a lively game of volleyball, and keep an eye out for our charismatic mascot, John, ready to make your stay unforgettable!
